CHINSURAH
26.5 MLD transformative Sewage Treatment Plant at Chinsurah, District Hooghly, West Bengal launched under National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) with Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) as the implementing authority, utilizing Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) technology to enhance waste water management under Namami Ganga scheme of Government Of India to treat the sewage of Chinsurah city before the treated water flows in to the River Hooghly.
